Rubicon Skate Camp
The Rubicon Skate Camps are Europe’s biggest and longest running series of week long residential skate camps and a chance for younger skaters to visit the cream of British skateparks, ride with pros, learn new skills and tricks, make new friends and basically submerge themselves in the UK skate scene.
Now in our 10th year, the camps are open to boys and girls, ages 10+ and with children coming from all over the UK, aswell as the World, we aim to ensure that everyone has a week of fun they will never forget. The camps run in all the holidays including Easter, Summer, Autumn and the half terms
Over the years, thousands of young skaters have experienced the incredible camp atmosphere, roadtrip fun and unique skatepark tour vibe... so it's no wonder we're Europe's biggest and most exciting skate camp!

Our camps are based near Birmingham - with children coming from all over the UK (and lots of other countries too) to take part. Parents simply drop the children off on the Monday morning and pick them up on the Friday evening and we take care of the rest.
Birmingham is ideally positioned in the heart of the country to give us easy access to hundreds of skateparks. It also has a major airport (to help children come from abroad) and a major train station (to help those children travelling by themselves).
Skateboarding all day is hard work. Skateboarding all day, every day for an entire week is seriously intensive – so we make sure that everyone’s properly fuelled up and gets a bit of sleep!
We provide breakfast, lunch and dinner each day – as well as some extra drinks whilst we’re at the parks to keep everyone hydrated and ripping it up! (and remember this is all included in the price)
A hot shower and a good nights sleep also helps rest those muscles ready for the next day of riding and our accommodation comes with warm comfy beds and is a fun place to chill out with a movie or XBox game at night.
We have two different accommocation centres near Birmingham - depending on which camp you are on - but both have fun dormitories with bunkbeds, central heating, male and female showers and toilets, fully fitted kitchens, chill out rooms with tv and xbox.
The staff and pro riders live there aswell – in their own rooms – so the group of children are always supervised – and there are always adults around to deal with any questions or problems.

During the week we visit some of the UK’s very best indoor and outdoor skateparks. We also like to visit new parks that have recently opened – as well as some local parks that have interesting features or layout. If the weather is nice, we try and stay outdoors – afterall, this is the UK and we get a lot of rain for 8 months of the year forcing us indoors so its nice to make the most of the sunny time!
There’s no set plan each week as to what parks we will visit – and the staff and drivers will usually decide in the morning over breakfast – but we’ve never gone to less than 10 parks in a week – and our record is 20!!
Some of our favourite parks from last year were Radlands Plaza, Faringdon, Stoke-on-Trent Plaza, Bollywood, Adrenaline Alley, Nottingham, Wolverhampton, Bromsgrove, Mansfield, Burton, Corby and Bearwood. There are so many others to choose from – and we love going to new places too – so if you think you know one worth visiting that we havent been to, just let us know. Road trip!!
Pro's (and Staff)
With 8 years experience in providing camps and running a skateboard school, you can be confident that you are in the best possible hands. At the end of the day we just want everyone to have the week of their lives – by skating and enjoying themselves to the absolute max – in a safe environment.
Each week you will also spend riding, learning and hanging out with prosponsored riders. We’ve had the likes of UK Champ Kris Vile (Vans, Volcom, Red Bull), Barcelona expat Dave Wallace (Osiris, Haze, Karma), UK legend Craig Smedley (Osiris, Venture, Nise), DC Embassy visitor Phil Parker (Coverse, Fifty Fifty, Pass Port), Bristol ripper Dave Snaddon (DC Shoes, Venture Trucks etc), Birmingham locals Jamie Hewitt (Bandit Skateboards, Axe Distribution etc) and Emma Richarson (Spread Eagle, Etnies etc) and of course tech wizard Geoff Else (Rubicon, Tech Deck etc). More names will be announced for the weeks as we get closer, so keep an eye on the website blog and facebook page – as you can imagine with busy schedules, sometimes the pro’s change last minute but we’ll always make sure we have some guys there to blow your mind! It’s also pretty common that we run in to some other big names whilst we’re out and about visiting our dozen or so parks in the week! We also have photographers and filmers on hand to capture all the action in full HD glory.
